BRIDGEPORT (Catholic Online) - The Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport has issued the following statement:

"In light of the issuance this afternoon of the formal letter from the Office of State Ethics, indicating that it has permanently withdrawn its action against the Diocese of Bridgeport and will take no further action against the Diocese regarding Raised Bills 1098 and 899, the Diocese has agreed voluntarily to dismiss its lawsuit.
