God has spoken to Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, no more swearing. The President made the announcement on Thursday while speaking to journalists, vowing to clean up his language.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - President Duterte has been criticized because of his hard-driving, no-nonsense approach to government. He has launched a full-scale war on drug pushers which has resulted in the deaths of thousands. While the world has criticized his policies, his election and his mandate are for the Philippine people and God alone to judge.
Well apparently, God has spoken and is telling President Duterte to clean up a bit.
According to President Duterte himself, God warned him to clean up his language or else He would "bring this plane down now."
"Who is this?" President Duterte asked.
"It's God," was the reply.
President Duterte has promised: "Not express slang, cuss words and everything. So you guys hear me right always because a promise to God is a promise to the Filipino people."
The announcement comes as a surprise, but it may help smooth relations between Duterte and other world leaders. Duterte once called Obama the "son of a whore" and has said a number of other things deemed aggressive and inappropriate. These comments, regardless if they are accurate or not, have angered many others and embarrassed some. 76*3 .4606. 6¶ *1 1(5*-8
If President Duterte cleans up his language, other leaders will have to argue with him on the merits of his policies instead of attacking his language. And given his popularity and success, it will be very hard for anyone to criticize him.
